On hot days, our large ash tree provides a wonderful, natural coolness that invites you to stay a while. Choose your favorite spot in the shade of the tree, under the flexible awning, or beneath our cozy wooden pergola.
While you enjoy the fresh air, we will treat you to homemade, regional specialties – freshly prepared for you with a lot of love. And the whole family is taken care of: our younger guests can run around and have fun in the safely fenced playground right next to the garden, while you relax and enjoy your meal.

EV Charging for Overnight Guests
We provide 2 x 22kW Type-2 charging stations for our house guests. Billing per kWh is calculated at a reduced guest rate and added directly and conveniently to your room bill. 100% of our electricity comes from our in-house photovoltaic system and renewable energy sources.”

Here in the Gailtal valley, nestled in the Carnic Alps, we are blessed to live surrounded by pristine mountains and untouched nature. However, to pass this fortune on to future generations, we are actively setting an example in our business – ensuring that tomorrow’s travelers will also have the chance to enjoy their vacation in a healthy, intact environment.
For us, sustainability is not just a marketing buzzword – this deep connection to nature has always been a natural part of who we are.
What this actually means can be seen very quickly at our house:
• Around 35% of our electricity is generated by our own photovoltaic solar system.
• The remaining electricity comes from 100% renewable hydropower.
• For heating, we use a biomass system. Wood is entirely CO2-neutral.
• Instead of imported mineral water, we offer you our local spring water – available as sparkling or still, and freshly chilled.
• Our guests can opt out of daily room cleaning and will receive a small daily reward as a thank you.
• Towels and bathmats are only changed upon request. This means only towels left on the floor or in the shower will be replaced – helping us protect the environment!
• In our kitchen, we have been using induction cooking for years. This means heat is only generated when a pan is actually on the stovetop, saving vital energy.
